If you took or are taking iron supplements
If you took or are taking iron supplements for anemia during pregnancy, did you also take a pre-natal vitamin that contains iron? The Slow FE box says not to take if you are also taking another supplement containing iron, but my dr. says it's OK. 
I tend to be overly cautious when taking anything during pregnancy so I'm wondering what others have done. Thanks in advance.

I have been taking both since 5wks because of the bleeding I was having.
My doc recommended it...

Yes, with this pregnancy and my last pregnancy too as recommended by my doctors for anemia.
I take one Slow Fe pill in the morning with OJ (helps the body absorb the iron), then my prenatal at night.

I take both, the iron supplement I take is a low dose. My doc told me to take them at different times so usually I'll take one in the morning and the other in the afternoon or at night.

yes i took both with my first pregnancy. Those are not fun and very constipating, just to warn you for me. Make sure you eat a lot of fiber.

Same here.
Ditto. She said it was the best otc one out there.
I was told to take my prenatals in the morning and my iron pill before bed.
