No way. I am sick of everyone expecting a tip for everything! I never use full serve, but if I did, since it costs more at some stations, there is no way in heck that I am tipping the guy.

I only get full serve when I need gas and I am in Huntington. And I use my gas card  so I don't tip.

I have NEVER heard of tipping at the gas station or seen anyone do that. I feel like I pay enough for gas.

in the cruddy weather i do... i remember when i used to work at my dad's gas station... it was soooooooooooo hard to drag myself out of the office when someone pulled in 4 gas....
especially the day of the blizzard when i had to be there to pump for all the LIPA guys, and doctors and nurses

I'm sorry and don't want to sound mean, but that is their job. I don't tip my garbage men everytime they come and pick up my garbage in the rain and snow.

I usually fill up in NJ (on the way to or from work) and I do not tip since all NJ gas stations are full serve.

I don't either. I use self serve anyway. I also see it as part of their job to pump gas if that gas station has a full service pump.

no I dont tip, I think at $50 a pop, there's a profit margin in there somewhere
and "full serve" in many other states, is washing/wiping the windshield also, so in reality, theyre not truly doing the full service (oh boy, im gonna get it for this one  )
I think it was in FL once, I was like WOW, now THIS is full service !
