Re: if you use powder formula...do you warm the bottle?
I did not. We'd keep filtered water at room temp and make bottles as needed. I figured if I never heated it, he wouldn't need it to be heated sometime when heating was unavailable.

Re: if you use powder formula...do you warm the bottle?
I only warm the bottle if I'm taking the formula out of the fridge to feed to her. And even then, I just warm it to room temp.

Re: if you use powder formula...do you warm the bottle?
I never did. I used room temperature water from a jug. I figured at the hospital they use room temperature nursettes, why should I go home and start warming bottles?
Now DD is on Nutramegin and it specifically says NOT to warm the bottles.

Room temperature water.
And as DS approached the age of 1, when he was getting ready to start drinking whole milk, I started making the formula bottles cooler to be honest.

Re: if you use powder formula...do you warm the bottle?
With DD#1 we made a pitcher of formula each night and then would pour it in bottles and heat as needed throughout the next day. It was a pain.
With DD#2 we made bottles on demand with room temp water. It was much easier than warming them and then we didn't have a problem while we were out and about with her taking room temp bottles.

Re: if you use powder formula...do you warm the bottle?
No, I always used room temp water. I was afraid DS would get use to it and refuse his bottle when we were out and about.

We do the same thing. We keep the poland spring dispenser unplugged so that the water is room temperature.

Yep. We used to warm the water in a mug then put the bottle in it but it got to be ridiculous especially since she'd drink it at room temp. Then we started to premix and put in in the fridge for night feeding and stopped warming it up period. So she drank it room temp or cold. Enough articles proved it didnt matter so it worked for us.
