If you waited to introduce all solids until 6m
How did you do it? Approx. when did you start with Stage 2 and/or Stage 3 jars?
We're following our ped's recommendations & he still has us introducing 1 new Stage 1 food per week (we'll be done w/the list in 2 weeks). DS is 8m and while he's happy/growing I'm wondering if I start Stage 2 in 2 weeks how long I should wait until trying Stage 3 jars? Our next appt isn't for a while & I'm debating if this is something I should bother the doc with (I'm thinking not lol). Thanks!

We started stage two around this time. Basically stage 2 just has more things in a jar. For instance: Apples AND prunes. If your child has already had apples or prunes and all was well, you can try this. It's just like trying a new food. If it is stage 2 food with more than 2 ingredients, then make sure your child has had most of the ingredients separately.
We skipped stage 3. Those foods are freaking confusing to a kid. They are mainly smooth, but have chunks in them. So they got so lost on whether they just swallow or chew. He tried a few jars of this and was a gagging crazy man. We just went right for table foods. He didn't get confused on consistancy.
It's probably time to try puffs!
