If your DC did not grow out of their Milk protein allergy at 12 months, what kind of milk did you transition to?
TIA!

At first soy, from 1-2.5 years old then she wouldn't drink it. From about 3 years old she is drinking original almond milk and seems to like it better.

We were told to stay on his Elecare formula. We transitioned at 15 months and now and 17 months, he is doing good on it. When we transitioned, I did it an ounce of milk with 5 ounces of formula for 3 days and then decreased the formula every 3 days.

Thanks! I have a feeling they may keep us on the formula longer. I was looking forward to not having to pay for it anymore!

DD ended up on formula until almost 18 months (we tried soy, it didn't help). And then, I used 2%...the whole milk was just too much for her system.
She's fine now, as long as she doesn't have too much whole-milk dairy at once...

Before we had a confirmation that DD outgrew her allergy, we used coconut milk.
