if your dc has weak hands...
both of my ds' have weak hands so i found stiff water bottles for them, fill them up with water and let them go crazy in the backyard. They have so much fun and can do it forever and they get a fun workout for their hands by squeezing the trigger over and over. It's nothing fancy but thought I'd share.

Thanks! DS needs to build his hand strength definitely, and I think he would like something like this.
