If your DC needs a dark room to sleep....what do you use?
OK...so the nursery was all ghetto with a navy bedsheet over the sheer curtain.
Her new room, we got a double hung rod with the blackout curtain liner on one rod and the sheer on the outer rod BUT light still leaks in on the sides and the middle since the liner is 2 panels. I think the blackout liner is too far from the window.
SOOOOO......I thumbtacked the freakin bedsheet on the window molding and it seemed to be dark enough for her to fall asleep.

I do the getto style too, I have blackout curtains, reg curtains and blinds. I thumbtacked the black outs to the wall Bryan cant have anylight or else he wont sleep

I have a blackout blind and blackout curtain liners. Now I am thinking about putting garbage bags over any light leaks....light mornings mean early risings

we have the wood blinds which seem to keep it pretty dark try those maybe?
