When did you have this corrected? Is there a certain age where it's best to have it done? Do they like to take care of it as soon as possible?
I was knock-kneed when I was younger and I remember I had to get special shoes to correct it, maybe at about 4, but I don't really remember anything else and I ddin't know if I should make another doctors appointment now jsut for this or wait.
DC is a bit knock-kneed, especially with his left. It's not very bad, but I think it'll need correction. Thanks!

They do not really do anything for this anymore. They told me that they have found that it tends to straighten out by the age of 8 and they were pretty much right.

I was told basically the same thing...we noticed Kaydyn is pigeon toed and mentioned it at her 15 month appt....the ped said they really don't do anything for those things anymore...if it becomes severe where in interferes with her walking they still won't do anything until after the age of 3 because most times it corrects itself.
