if your water broke on your own..

how long after did you give birth?

I haven't had that experience with my other 2 since they broke the water for me.

My water broke at just after 2am, on its own at home. I hadn't even had contractions before.

I gave birth just after 3pm - so 13 hours later.

dumb question but will I know when my water breaks? Like does it gush or just a trickle? probably depends right?

my water broke while I was pushing , it felt like a balloon popped in there

21 hours after my water broke, dd was born...I had to be induced with Pitocin to get contractions going.

When it broke I felt a gush and then it just kept gushing over and over again.

Water broke at around 1am. It gushed!!!!! I remember dh bringing my bag to the car after I called my dr and she told me to go straight to the hospital. Hes sitting it the car waiting for me and im screaming out the window I cant stop leaking i gotta grab towels for the car hold on

Lara was born 4pm same day. But via c section. She wasnt coming down

So from gush to baby 15 hours LOL

My water broke in bed at 330am and DS was born at 1pm. So about 9 hours but contractions didn't start right away. My water also gushed and didn't stop. I didn't know how I was going to leave the house bc it felt like I was peeing my pants!! I put on a huge pad and sat on a towel in the car.

24 hours. Felt a pop (was luckily already in the bathroom). It alternated between leaking and gushing. Had pitocin to get the contractions going.

My water broke with both of my kids. For ds, water broke at 830pm got to hospital at 9 and was not dilated, was induced with cervadil. Ready to push around 9am and he was born almost an hour later.

Dd my water broke at 730pm and the same process happened with her with the induction except I wasn't progressing past 5cm and her heart rate kept dropping so the dr made the decision to do a c section. She was born at 535am. Turns out the cord was wrapped around her so I'm glad we got her out when we did.

Eta there was no question my water broke, was a gush both times and just continued to come out. I had to put a towel in the car.

Just as I was waking up, about 6:30 am (to go to work - needless to say, I never made it in!), on my due date.

I unfortunately needed a c-section after about 10 hours of whatever meds they gave me to jumpstarting labor because I was not dilating past 3cm and the baby had not descended and was too high up.

My water broke around 9pm and I had ds2 at 3:41am. Contractions started at around 1:30am. It was fast and intense.

Water broke in the evening while driving with DH. Wasn't in labor until next day and gave birth.

12 hrs. But ended with a csection.

5 hours. It was a trickle. It felt like I was peeing a little bit but would not stop. I partially gave birth to a foot and tush, and then had a c section.
