If you're a drinker (wine, beer etc) would you like gift?
Friend got engaged to a nice young man and both love to drink. They even met in a NYC bar - a nice one during happy hour. I guess you could call them classy drinkers and lovers of fine wine and such.
I was thinking of getting them a few things I saw on etsy: a beer glass with a mustache graphic and a wine glass with a red lips graphic and a framed print that says "it all started at (insert bar name)". It also will have their names on it. They are 28.
Was going to throw in some nice bottles of wine.
What do you think?
I was going to do a wine of month club but they are in process of house hunting and it was a little out of my price range.
Thoughts?

Love the idea for the glasses. I personally would prefer one expensive bottle of wine over a few low-mid range bottles. I would also be very happy with a few inexpensive but good quality wines but would prefer to receive one expensive bottle. If you go with one expensive bottle you could get one from the year they were born since they are both the same age amd presumably were born the same year If you get a few different bottles you could get them all from the year they met.

Very nice idea.
Do they like going to the vineyards...I have this great backpack cooler that holds wine bottles, glasses, cutting board, etc for a nice outting.

I used to take it to concerts in parks too 
We love ours.
We have one that carries 2 wine bottles. But it's like this

I love the wine idea. I"m not sure if I would use glasses that had a mustache and lips on them. Maybe something a little more classy since you said they are more "upscale" drinkers like their initials or something. Other than that, great idea!!

That's what I was thinking, too. Personally I love those glasses and have a moustache one, but from the way you describe them I'd go a little fancier. But I love the idea!

I would not be a fan of it but I do not like stuff around my house. I have plain glasses and a special few would just be clutter to me. and the framed picture probably wouldn't get hung up. I get stuff like that all the time form my ILs and it jsut gets put in a closet until I finally toss it.

Ditto this and I agree with the pp who said to go with one very good bottle as opposed to a few not quite as good ones. Otherwise, I love the idea! This comes from a wino that loves good wine!
