I was surprised when my brother was really sick at how many people knew who I was and who he was...obviously he doesn't post on here...it was a bit eye-opening to say the least.

It's a mystery to me how people know to find me on this website. BUT, my MIL had her best friend's daughter stalk me and print out old information to bring up and argue with me. A "friend" of my SIL's said she recognized my picture or my dh's pics and started reading my posts like a friggen moron. Then she reported back to her with all my posts. I mean seriously...do people not have a life? I just love it when people think that by writing about something that happened, other people on this website are going to know who they're talking about.

I had someone stalking me on LIW. It was someone I knew very well, an older person (don't want to go into too much detail) who was going back and telling my mom things I was saying; and asking me questions to get information under an unknown username. It wasn't a big deal because I odviously wasn't saying much but the whole thought freaked me out when I finally figured it out. There was no reason for her to be on LIW which bugged me out. I just watched what I wrote from then on.

I have shared info on here that was somewhat private and it was shared outside the board. I am careful about what I write and am somewhat cryptic with things I don't feel are public information. But I have never had any real issues from posting on here.

For me, the family member knew my sn from LIW...I changed it a bit when I came over here, but she figured it out. I had to ask LIF to change my sn to something completely different.

My friends and family just think that I talk to people on LIW still, or that i have kept in touch by e-mail not that i have moved to a connected site. At least I think they believe that.
