ify our toddler takes a bath in the tub without any baby tubs
what kind of bath mat do you use?
can you name the model? or post link where to buy it?
we got a BRU brand one and I hate it, it smells terrible, it needs to be wrung out because it absorbs water like a sponge and it seems to be wearing at the suction cups.
Need something better, please advise

I just bought a set of fish and star fish bath clings from Target in the kids bath section. Nothing fancy, just cheap and easy.

I bought this one from BedBath&Beyond:
We just roll it up after his bath and let it dry.

We bought a Disney cars mat from bj's. We hang it on the inside shower door bar to dry

bath mat
i never leave it in the tub. we always take it out and let it air dry after each bath.

I didn't want to get a mat b/c I was afraid it would get too yucky. So we got a set of little flower clings. And DS promptly pulled them all off and tried to eat them. We stopped bothering with them after the first few times.

We have a clear suction cup mat that I think I got from Target. I scrub it once a week with SoftScrub when I do the tub.

our tub has build in non skid things so suction mats don't stick to it. DD1 sits on a small washcloth though.

its a clear one that i got at BEDBathbeyond..it has shapes like river rocks but is clear. where i bathe DS is also DH's shower. so i didnt want anything kiddie.
it works pretty well and easy to clean.

Our tub is really slippery for some reason so we HAVE to have a mat (not just for DS' sake, but for our own - I almost cracked my head open when I slipped in the tub!).
We've tried a lot of mats and the best one I found is from Bed Bath and Beyond. It's clear, long, and the material is a non slip plastic with lots of holes for draining. I'll try to find a picture for you.

We have an elmo bath mat from TRU. We only use it when he's taking a bath.

I have the Elmo one from BRU. A few times a week after her bath I fill the tub enough to cover the mat and toys and pour bleach in and let it sit. This way everything gets disinfected. (I pull the suction cups off so the bleach water hits all parts of the mat)
I used to have the BRU brand mat and I hated it.
Elmo Mat
FYI- it is a bit smaller than the BRU bathmat- but I haven't found it to be an issue.
