I agree with what everyone is saying. Sometimes if it's a BOY it can take a while to see the BOY parts. So they might not see anything and say it's a GIRL and then 6 weeks later you have another U/S and low and behold it's actually a BOY. So I think they avoid this until everything is fully developed and they can be more accurate.
 
Not true. At 13, 14 weeks, boy and girl babies look virtually the same. They all have a nub. The angle of the nub in a profile shot can help determine if its a boy or a girl. But its actually more common for a tech to guess boy, and later to find out its actually a girl.
you gotta check out angle of the dangle website! lol
Never heard of it...I just waited until they could tell me for sure. This way everyone felt better.
