I'm a happy camper...(hanukkah)
you know what I bought myself today? I big fat cheesy window menorah - Orange bulbs and all.
I can't believe all the years I have lived here I never had one.
I have Hanukkah music playing...and I'm waiting for my pea pod delivery so I can make my latkes...all is right in the world today :)

P.S. I bought one of those tacky orange lightbulb menorah's last year and display it in my front window proudly!

Fun!
We used to have one of those menorah's with the orange bulbs in the window when I was a kid... along with a brightly lit christmas tree.

I am the only one on my block too. There is a Jewish dentist around the corner but he doesn't decorate.

OMG your life sounds so idyllic! My son threw a fit when I lit the candles. So another 7 nights, another 7 tantrums!
