I'm a little annoyed with my neighbor....

Our next door neighbor, whom we have only said hello to on a few occassions, is a fisherman. He builds boats and fishes for a living. That being said, the side of his house that is extremely close to our house, he keeps his boats and his fishing supplies. It smells like rotten fish almost all the time in our backyard So much so that I don't even want to go back there some days. Now, I'm in my den and I can't even open the windows because it's so bad. I know that he's within his rights to be working on his boats and what not, and it doesn't even bother me that his yard is a disgusting mess, but the smell, come on now. It's so bad that all the neighborhood cats hang out there Is there anything I can do????

can you speak to him? hate to say but i am sure there are a lot more "animals" that are attracted to the area then just the cats. if he is not responsive, you could always report him to the town.

I would def. let him know of your concern, you have a very valid reason to be annoyed! Hopefully if he's at all understanding he will clean up the boat a bit more. Who wants rodents running around their property?! Maybe he doesn't realize how gross it smells.
