You need the "A" in "Amy" to make the "k" in "seek" sound like the letter "K".
Otherwise, the K doesn't sound like the letter "K", but just the ending of "seek".
"Seek" doesn't sound like "C-K"

April Wine did this about 25 years ago with a song called If You See Kay
Brit is a little late on the trend, its so 1982

Can she get through a song without singing in her robotic way "Baby, baby"?

It sounds stupid.. Sounds like - " all the boys and girls want to if you see amy"
And brit no one wants to F-U-C-K you or see amy/
***.. sounds silly.

Once I heard what it's "supposed" to sound like, that's the only way I hear it now. The radio version sounds weird, now that I know what it should be.
At first, I was wondering what sort of grammatical context was going on.... the line didn't make any sense at all..... then "OOOOHhhhh.... *That's* what it's supposed to be...."
Right, but the whole "cleverness" is lost because the statement doesn't work both ways.....without the context it's just a trainwreck....
