I'm back after having a lap/switching Re's etc etc

So i have been MIA for a while. Had frozen transfer in Dec at North Shore ended in chemical, i wasnt seeing eye to eye with them and Decided to go to Dr Kofinas and see what he said. I am happy i made the switch ( still have two frozen embryos at North Shore )After all the blood work etc, i have a slight clotting issue but nothing major. No signs of endo but they said the only real way of knowing was to go in. So decided to have my lap in feb. Sue enough thye found scar tissue and some endo but a very slight case. I wasnt ready to start a new IVF cycle (due to buying a house and everything under the sun coming up ). So they suggested trying naturally with clmoid 50mg. i started CD 3-7. We bd cd 8,10,12,14,15. I got a negative on the digital cd 15 in the AM but got a positive early evening CD 15. tested again monday evening cd16 and it was neg. Do u think we covered our bases? I have tried "naturally" for a long time since we have gone thru ivf etc. I am scared we should have BD one more time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I used to be a patient at North Shore. Not for IF, but to try to treat my endo, so I wouldn't become an IF patient. We can all see how well that worked out. LOL I had insisted to them that I thought the endo was back, but they kept telling me it wasn't. I decided to go to the Center for Endometriosis Care in Georgia for a lap. I had Stage IV endo . . . again! I never went back to North Shore after that. I'm glad yours was minimal and that you were able to get it taken care of.

thank you. Thats the thing, they didnt even mention anything about endo or having a lap. they were ready to move forward with another transfer and again transfer one , nothing about any blood testing. ugh.

It's frustrating when you wind up with a doctor that isn't willing to think outside the box. It sounds like you made the right choice switching to a different RE. Good luck!!

Glad you switched. I hated north shore and I'm so glad I left.

This scares me! I had lap surgery last Summer to remove slight case of Endo.. not stage IV. I have always had clotting issues... I still did right after the lap surgery. Nothing major - just there. It was never revisited again. I wonder if it should?

Is your concern that you still have endo? If so, are you still experiencing symptoms? Unfortunately, a lot of doctors are not very knowledgeable about endo.

I never showed all the symptons of Endo..just slight clotting. I always have cramps during my cycle, and they aren't terrible. I'm just wondering how long it takes to come back. Now we are preparing for our 2nd IVF cycle...
