Deb! If your spunk can translate online up the Eastern Seaboard- of course your doctor in Boston can see it
It's sounds very good that they got most of the cancer.
It must be so confusing to have two different opinions.

few clarifications
no surgery...right now.
He wants to wait 4-6 months and see if the swelling in my head goes down.
And about which opinion I am going with...well I think I am taking a trip to another well known cancer center and seewhat the third opinions says.
For the person who asked if I am telling my first opinion what my second opinion asked...I am going to sometime this week.
Pain meds- we try a new one each week, MOST make me vomit uncontrollably. This is the biggest reason as to why I have lost nearly 70 pounds. All doctors agree I MUST put weight on and after that I MUST start building some muscle.

Glad to hear you got some good news! I am praying for choice A or B and I think you have kicked the crap out of any stray cells that were foolish enough to hang around.

I hope that with time perhaps the pain management will get better, and that the cancer is completely gone...
any ideas what is going on with your eye???

No surgery now...but always looming over my shoulder as a possibility.
Aghhhh the eye...well now there are LOADS of doc's with their "personal but professional opinion" some tell me to remove it...others say fight for it.
I don't know WHAT to do.

Deb - i have been thinking about you everyday - it is good to hear that they dont feel this surgery is necessary at this time - I feel thats very promising - please keep us informed of whether its A or B
