not to ask a stupid question but how do they put the cervidil in?
It gets inserted into your cervix. Doesn't hurt, alittle umfortable and you can't pee for 2 hrs I was like WHAT, I am a preggo women who pees all the time.

I was induced but never progressed. Pitocin and cervadil did nothing for me....only dilated 1 cm and no strong contractions. I had a c-section and a wonderful recovery. You will be fine. Good Luck!
Exact same story here!!
I have to say, my C/S wasnt as bad as I feared after I got thru the first day or so.
I would do it again in a heartbeat for the second so as not to go thru both labor and a section!

I was induced and I loved it! Labor was exactly 12 hours, but I slept through most of it .
I was only 37.5 weeks along, zero dilation or effacement so I was mentally prepared for a c-section, if needed. The cervadil worked perfectly, I got my epi and then the picotin, so I slept through most of my active labor. My OB woke me up to tell me I was at 10cm, and DD was born about 30 minutes later.
