i'm seriously losing my mind.......
long story short......
"dh" took Lukin (my male dog) with the agreement i wold still see him and he would still see the girls.
(he was also eventually supposed to take Tinky because we dont feel they should be separated)
anywya, he has had him for over 2 months now and has NOT let me see my dog.
EVERYTIME we make plans for me to see him he makes different plans and blows me off.
i was supposed to gt to see him around christmas.... i call him and turns out he is on long island (christmas eve & christmas) and LEFT LUKIN HOME!!!!!!! he left the dog home alone for 2 days..... a)its just wrong and b) I WANTEDTO SEE HIM! I WOULD HAVE taken him!!!!
so i ask him to see him today and he says no he made new plans.... he REFUSES to set a date for me to see my dog.
i cried all christmas day over this. im just losing my mind. i cant deal with this man anymore and i dont know what to do. i hate him so much. i dont understand why he plays with my emotions like this. he is SOOOOOO selfish. and this is NOT in the dogs best interest either.
i just needed to vent. i'm lost. i don't know what to do about it.

I see you are seperated. you need to figure out when you're divorced where the animals are going to live permanently. No judge is going to grant a "visitation" schedule. Unfortunately (and I certainly dont feel this way) animals are property. IMO you are setting a bad precendent that when the time comes to be divorced if you cant agree your dog is going to go with DH as he is the one in possession. I would do something about the animal situation now rather than later. From your previous posts your DH is a POS and I would expect that he is not letting you see your dog purposesly to hurt you.

I am so sorry that he is making this so hard. It is not fair to Lukin either
Jes, see if you can get the dogs back. I know that you were trying to do the right thing by "sharing" but he is obviously not taking care of them the way you would.

ITA. He should not be using the dog as collaterol.
Is there any way you can add the animals in to your divorce agreement? can you call the ASPCA or another animal organization and ask them for their advice?
I'm so sorry you and your animals have to go through this
