Im waiting.....
Here is what I want, ONE person to tell me how its OK that Bannon has been appointed. How they can see past that, how this is not a perceived problem. Not ONCE have I heard someone who supports Trump be able to tell me how its OK to give someone who is a PROVEN and factual bigot, misogynist, racist, whose appointment is being HAILED by the KKK and white supremacists, power in government when as president they should be denouncing those very things. Instead, they give them a platform, a voice.
Someone tell me how this is not what we thought would happen??? Someone tell me why this is not a big deal. I havent heard that ONCE.
(in addition to Bannon, how its OK that Kris Kobach has been appointed to the transition team or Ebell to the EPA transition).

This is not about politics. Not about who we voted for and who we opposed. It's not even about the issues.
This transcends everything.
I would have so much respect--so much respect--for a Trump supporter who could retain some independent judgment and help us. Defend the choices. Or condemn them. Just help us.
I am very scared.
And I do not tend toward dramatic or hysterical. This is legitimately scary.

Not everyone who voted trump, voted for TRUMP himself. They voted for a change from D to R. That's what I'm hearing from most
So like in another thread that asked how to get a president impeached, if that happened, it would then be pence. Which some said is WORSE. That tells me it's not just that it's trump and the things he has Said , it's the thought of a republican run government that has everyone upset. The name Trump is just used to fill in the blank when some talk about Republican government.
Either way ... it's a done deal right now. The back and forth, name calling, etc will change nothing but people's opinions of you (General you on both sides of this) going forward.

I don't think people are upset over it being a Republican run government, it's the person who will be running it...........not their party affiliation. Both Trump and Pence are a hot mess in MY opinion. I would feel the same if they ran as Democrats.

I have to agree with this and Laura Ingraham said the exact same thing this morning as well as Kellyann Conway.
Sometimes (and maybe even more now) you need to take what the media says with a grain of salt.
I don't know much about him so don't flame me but I have heard he is an extremely intelligent man and was chosen because he would be excellent in this position.
I think we need to give all of them a chance, even Obama said that yesterday, and if they screw up, then come back here and said I told you so. Maybe they will do good and we all will be happier in a few years.
No one can really tell and that is with every election.
I think there is more fear and hate and being butthurt now without even allowing them to start to turn this country around.
If you all preach love and unity, then try and start with your own lives and by fueling the fire, it is not making it any better.

Notice I haven't posted any direct quotes from him yet...
It's guilty by association. He's the CEO of a website that posts a lot of anti-Semite, mysogynistic, anti-women, anti-gay, etc. articles. Since he's in charge of the website, he is guilty of allowing that type of stuff to be published under his auspices.
I haven't been able to find any incriminating direct quotes, but when you run a website like that, people will automatically assume that you're OK, and even endorse and encourage that type of thinking.

2. Shouldn't those who wanted Obama to prove (or at least show) that he was not Anti-American, foreign born, anti-police...also want this guy to distance himself from the hate in the enterprise he ran and the reputation that follows him?
(This is not an accusation made by fringe groups. Legit conservatives are scared of this guy.)

Bc they are very different in my mind. to me, Bernie is love and Don is hate, but they could both be seen as anti establishment/"change" I suppose.
Because I don't really think the problem is Donnie. The real issue to me is why did the people elect him.

Nah. It's not about dem vs rep. That's oversimplifying the real problems. I personally don't care that they're rep (although I do think they've hurt the image of the rep party to many). I would also feel the same if they were dems.

They elected him as there was NO way they wanted a criminal, corrupt person who people have SEEN what she has done in the last 30 years with and to this country.
People do NOT want politicians anymore. They don't want groomed debaters who are told what to say and have no mind of their own. They don't want fluff and political correctness. They want someone to tell them like it is. People have become too soft. We need to harden up and take care of business. HRC has not taken care of business. She has taken care of lining her own pockets and trying to rise to power on our expense.

exactly what you just said is why so many people find anyone who supported Trump must be also OK with all the racist, sexist, etc stupid ass shit he says. Its like that saying you are who you hand out with.
You hang out with a bunch of hookers people are going to assume you are hooker too even if you aren't. Is it right no but it is what it is.
That's why I don't get why all these Trump supporters are so surprised that they are being associated with being racist, sexists etc. Its because you voted for someone that many people feel is. IMO their response should be I am not any of these things even if Trump is OR I don't believe Trump is any of those things.

I am not condoning this nor any stupid, nasty comment anyone has ever said but we seem to hold some people up to higher standards BEFORE they were even needed to be.
