In a debate--how would this take?--need to settle this asap!
DH and I are in a debate with the IL's. Early in the AM on Saturday from SE Nassau to Newark Airport...how long would it take? We're leaving for Mexico!

To be there for 7am
IL's say we need just under 2 hours. We think about 1h 15m or so should be enough. I doubt there will be any traffic.

depends what you consider se nassau. if you hit queens or the city anytime after 5:30 am , there is gonna be traffic. I used to have to go to Mineola from Lindenhurst to be there by 7am and it took me almsot an hour.
I would say its gonna take you 2 hours due to the traffic.

i would give yourself 2 hours. even though you might be early, you don't want to chance there being an accident or traffic and then you're late

Sounds like going from my house now in NJ to my parents house on LI.
You SHOULD fly. But I'd give myself 1.5 hours just in case.
I've done 45 minutes flat with no traffic before.
