Re: In your opinion what is the best area of queens?
We are looking forward to moving to Queens next year. Grew up in Queens, but after going to stony brook, we stayed east and bought a house earlier this year. We miss it too much though. Plan to move to Bayside, Douglaston, or Glen Oaks area.

Whitestone, Beechhurst, Bayside, Douglaston, North Flushing - my aunt lives here and I LOVE it - the homes are beautiful - nice quiet area - wish we could afford a house here -

I lived in bayside and it was always considered Queens. Have never heard of it being called " long island queens" before ever.
To answer my own question I think Malba hands down is the best part of queens to live in. No other place in Queens comes close to touching it.
Same here. I've never heard any of those areas be called "long island queens"
Floral Park, Douglaston, Bayside, & Bay Terrace are nice areas. They are border line to Nassau. Parts of Astoria are nice also
