Infant with allergies & starting solids
DS is allergic to dairy, egg, soy, almonds, and peanuts (non-IgE allergies, not anaphalaxis). I just started introducing solids a few weeks ago and am introducing one food at a time for 4 days before moving on to the next thing. Is this REALLY necessary? I feel like he's going to be in college by the time he gets to eat "real" food. Any other allergy moms that can share what they did?

I did the same. It did seem like a long time but I feel like it was worth it.
Good luck!

I waited 3 days in between with Aidan...Thankfully he never had a problem...He was on jarred foods and I tried every flavor they had...It went pretty fast...

my doctor wanted me to wait 5 days so we did. we didn't want to take any chances and it went by faster than you think once she had a few foods to choose from. we did this until 9 mos I think. now she eats almost everything and we no longer wait in between foods.
