interaction with other kids (DD is 9 months old)
my DD is the first baby in the family and in my group of closest friends....
is it really important for her to have some interaction with kids at this age? or it doesnt matter?
i just see these play dates & think awww...
just wondering if its necessary for her now.

DS is 10 months and we've been doing lots of "playdates" lately. I don't this its necessary at this age, but I think it will help his social develpoment. The babies don't really play together at all, but they do acknowledge each other at this age. They are definitely aware of the other babes and usually try to take each other's toys.
