did anyone read the whole article? no?

"Giving a single shot of the vaccine to those who had been previously infected also appeared to boost their protection."

Here is the article on that, because it originated from Science magazine. Bloomberg just rephrased it and took out alot of the details...

Science Mag

"The researchers also found that people who had SARS-CoV-2 previously and received one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine were more highly protected against reinfection than those who once had the virus and were still unvaccinated. The new work could inform discussion of whether previously infected people need to receive both doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine or the similar mRNA vaccine from Moderna. Vaccine mandates don’t necessarily exempt those who had a SARS-CoV-2 infection already and the current U.S. recommendation is that they be fully vaccinated, which means two mRNA doses or one of the J&J adenovirus-based vaccine."

So my question is if you had covid and still got the shot is it making your worse or just either better protected?

It’s the point that it’s not bad to get the vaccine if you had covid but if you had covid and didn’t get the shit you might be just as protected from someone who got the vaccine?

Exactly.
How many CHILDREN are dying of Covid?
How many children died of chicken pox before there was a vaccine?
The numbers are probably not that far off.
As much as nobody wants to admit it because it doesn't fit the agenda of VACINATE YOUR KIDS FOR COVID, this virus is mainly deadly to adults.
Not kids

Just curious I don’t mean this in a mean , malicious way or am I trying it prove a point I’m just really curious.

If you knew someone like a sibling, cousin best friend etc whose child got covid was hospitalized or maybe even died from covid would it change your mind on your stance for the vaccine?

I’m personally on the fence about the vaccine for kids. But I’m pretty sure if I had known someone close to me experience it would change my mind.

No. Not for my child.
I know children die of Covid. I also know children die of flu (at a higher rate I believe). Just because I may know one of those children personally does not change my stance.
I'm a numbers person. I look at percentages and statistics.
And no matter how they want to spin it and spin it and spin it until everyone is scared shittless, the chance of child dying of Covid is still miniscule.

For ME- the risk of God knows what complications from the vaccine both now and down the road is still higher than the risk of a child dying of Covid.
My daughter isn't even fully developed yet.
She hasn't hit puberty.
She still has baby teeth.
I have no idea what this vaccine can do to her future fertility, and anything else in her developing body.
They want to force it in my arm, fine. I've lived my life, I've had my kids.
In her arm, I'll fight to the death.

I’ve been saying this and asking for feedback.

My sister who was vaccinated but never had Covid, said she feels that I am more protected than her from getting Covid. She is right, she is more likely to get Covid now but at least there is a good chance she won’t be really ill. I don’t feel like there is a rush for me to get the vaccine or I should be forced. I don’t think anyone should be.
