Invitation/Party Advice
So we wanted to have Jiavana's 1st birthday and Aiden's baptism the same day since it would be stupid to have 2 parties the same month.
Anyway, if we did the baptism alone it would be only family + two family friends.
For the birthday we want to invite a few more since there are people with young kids.
For decorations it is mostly dora and one or two baptism hanging thingys.
For plates/utensils I did half hot pink, half bright blue. The colors look really cool together.
we were thinking of doing 2 different invitations. One with the collage for Jiavana's 1st bday and then one for Aiden for the baptism with the church info.
Is it wrong to send the family both invitations and the "kids" only the first birthday invite? It's mostly a birthday party but the baptism is the same day.
Will people feel funny if they bring a gift for Jiavana and see Aiden made his baptism?

I think everyone invited should know both events are being celebrated the same day

I feel funny inviting people to 2 parties. I don't want them to think they should give a gift for Aiden's baptism since most weren't invited to Jiavana's baptism.
Maybe I'll see about doing 2 seperate parties.

Maybe do a birthday party after the christening since everyone will be there.

See I would feel bad if I was invited to a birthday party and bought a gift but didn't have a gift for the baptism because I didn't know. Maybe two parties wouldn't be bad if you had one at the beginning of the month and one at the end

That's what I'm thinking. The baptism is really just going to be a small party after the ceremony anyway.
