Inviting friends kids to parties--WWYD
My youngest DS is going to be turning 2 soon. I am starting to plan his party. He goes to a small daycare where there are about 10 kids. I really only want to invite the few around his age which are 4 of them, but I will probably have to end up inviting everyone. I have a ton of friends of my own who all have kids and I have always invited all their kids to my kids parties. My kids all know their kids. The problem is, I will end up having so many kids which at these places tends to add up in cost. For instance, I have a friend with 3 kids, one is my DS age and the other two are much older. I feel like I just can't invite the youngest one.
So basically my question is, when do you/did you stop inviting your friends kids to your kids bday parties.
Any thoughts?

I have friends with older kids as well...much older.
I make the invite only to the kid desired for.

Re: Inviting friends kids to parties--WWYD
We invited 25 kids to DS 2nd birthday party for the same reason. We invited all of the kids in neighborhood, our friends kids and the kids in his class at daycare. I am sure that they all won't come. Alot of the kids from daycare usually don't come and more of the friends kids come so I invited them all. The party is next week so I may have 25 kids there but I doubt it.
