Ipad and public library?
Can you borrow books from the library if you have an ipad?
How is reading books on the ipad vs. the e-ink e-readers like Nook or Kindle?

Yes you can! Download the Overdrive app from the app store. Go to your library's site and borrow the digital books. When you download them, it will load them on the Overdrive app. Open and read!

I have both ipad and nook simple touch.
I just got the simple touch b/c I do find that my eyes feel a bit strained from the backlite on the ipad.
I love the nook for the LIRR.
Since I travel alot for work, I take the Ipad but since the nook is soo tiny, I can take both now.
Downloading the books are both are so easy.
