Re: Is anyone planning on being a stay at home mom?
I am going to be a work at home mom. I make less money then if I go into an office and work but it wil well worth it. The ability to work from home is what helped me choose my career. I saw how hard it was for my mom to be a full time working mom and I knew there had to be an alternative.

Re: Is anyone planning on being a stay at home mom?
I've been pretty much a SAHM since my daughter was born 2 years ago. When she was 7 months old, I went back, one day a week. Its been nice having that balance. I love SAH, but I also love my job. I might not go back after baby #2 is here and then depending on if we have a 3rd, I'd consider going back when they're in school.

Eventually. We won't be able to afford it for a few years, though. But my mom runs a daycare center, so I get free childcare, with someone I love and trust, and can call every 15 minutes.

Re: Is anyone planning on being a stay at home mom?
After the day I had at work today I'm seriously considering it
Technically we could surivive on DH's salary alone but there is not alot of room for "extras". I don't know if I'm ready to give up the "extras" yet...as selfish as that sounds Not only for me but also for my daugther. I guess when she's born I will rethink my decision which is as of now to go back to work.

Re: Is anyone planning on being a stay at home mom?
Me!!! and i love it! They grow so fast, so when given the opportunity and since we can finacially swing it, the decision wasn't hard to make! There's a lifetime to work, i can always go back later!
And for those of you who can't stay home, i PRAISE YOU FOR TAKING TWO FULL TIME JOBS, WORK/MOM!
i DID THAT FOR AWHILE WITH MY FIRST, AND IT ISN'T EASY EITHER!
bEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF YOU, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DECIDE!
