Is anyone "shy" about their Facebook friend requests?
I will often see someone I "know" (usually from here) but then I feel like they probably have no idea who I am so why would they accept me as a friend?

I am not necessarily shy.
but I get confused sometimes b/c I guess people see me as a mutual friend of other LIF'ers and ask to friend me not knowing who I am on here, and therefore not realizing that they cannot stand me.  not sure what to do with those people.
I am inherently not a mean person ( ) and don't like to not be friends but the  side wonders if they are being calculated.

I don't think I am an especially active poster but I've been around since 2003 and I hardly ever request LIF girls. I feel silly, like they would say "who?" LOL

I am. Part of me likes to keep my circle on the tighter side, but then part of me would love to genuinely be friends with certain people on here on FB but I don't think I'm "out there" enough on here for most to know who I am should I request them. So I chicken out most of the time.
