Is everyone done getting oil??
I have 1/4 in my tank right now. That's usually when I fill up. I use gas for hot water and cooking, so oil is just for heat. Do I really need more gas now or can I be done for the season??

I wouldn't get more. Last year I had the same setup (this year we converted our heat to gas) and I would not be getting another fill up in May.

We just go a fill up the other day - we were down to 1/4 of a tank also.
This will now last us all summer and at least we have peace of mind that we won't run out when the first cold spell hits next fall/winter.

I AM DONE lol but since I am converting I feel more adamant, if I wasnt I might fill up bc then I would be using it next season anyway

am i crazy to think that if i fill up now and not use the oil until october, the oil will go bad?

It won't go bad. We got a fill-up in May of last year. We only use it for heat as we have an electric hot water heater. The oil got us through late December when it ran out. I work from home but I am pretty conservative about keeping it low and we were converting to oil so we really didn't want another fill.
I think you'll be fine till fall and the oil will be fine too.
