I never was. I would wash my hands etc. I wasn’t even wearing a mask until they made it mandatory if you couldn’t do the social distancing thing.
Same for me.

I’ve been using a scarf at the grocery store but it keeps falling down - so I end up touching my face when I otherwise wouldn’t.
Please let this all end soon.

Good to see I am not alone.
I wear one of those race masks that go around your neck and cover your mouth and nose. I like it because I can move it up and down. I also already had them from when I did a Spartan race in Phoenix. It was so dusty there. Gloves are dumb.

Re: is everyone still sanitizing like crazy?
I’ve relaxed a tiny bit. As in when I get packages, don’t open them outside and toss the box, then wipe the contents. I now throw the box in the basement and wait 2 days, then open and throw box out normally and wash hands. I’ve been letting things sit not to waste Lysol and Lysol wipes.
I still wipe down the doorknobs and light switches, etc 1x per week though. But I always do that as part of my weekly cleaning.
I’m not Lysol mopping the floor every single day anymore. I use the steam mop every other day and Lysol 1x a week. It’s just us. We don’t wear shoes inside. So I’m calming down with that.
But I still wipe down all groceries before putting them away. I don’t want to grab the creamer for my coffee and think I got the rona lol. It settles my mind.
I do wear a mask out in public when around other people. My neighbors MIL made a ton for the hospital and had extras and gave to us. When I get home, I take it off and wash it in Lysol laundry detergent and try to dry in the sun.

is everyone still sanitizing like crazy?
I wash my hands when I come in. I still wipe down my groceries but besides that I don't do much. We are all at home unless we go grocery shopping. I don't change my clothes when I get home, honestly that never even crossed my mind.

is everyone still sanitizing like crazy?
I always washed my hands before all of this bc of where I work. I work in a medical office. I feel like I am at work when I go to the supermarket, just everyone is doing what I do at work. I am still coming home and putting my clothes right in the machine and go straight to the shower. It is starting to grow old w me bc it is a project, but I know I have to still do what am I doing for my own safety. I wish things would get back to normal soon.

is everyone still sanitizing like crazy?
One day last week I was like I'm not doing this anymore. It would have to be the perfect storm to catch something from a grocery box or package. So I stopped wiping stuff down and honestly I feel so much better. I was becoming so paranoid

Exactly. And if makes you feel any better we never wiped a thing down, never take off our clothes or shoes, I'm not a cleaner, we grab the mail, open packages, etc and none of us have gotten sick. It's too much to live like that. You'll make yourself mental and to be honest , like you said, the chances of getting sick from a box of cereal you didn't wipe down or a piece of mail- well you probably have a better chance of being struck by lightening.

Yea we don’t strip down or anything like that. My son has to walk the dog like 3-4 times a day and I don’t have laundry in my apartment. There’s no way I’m going to do that much laundry and have it pile up.
Tbh, I am grossed out about wiping my food down. I know it’s just the containers, but I feel like that is chemicals around or near my food and it freaks me out. Am I the only weirdo that thinks like that? Lol. I also don’t re-plate my take out.

I actually saw something where they had to tell people, please do not use bleach or lysol or sanitizing products on your produce- it could be dangerous. I really just can't. I don't re-plate take out either. Again- chance of getting hit by lightening is probably greater. We're all still alive and healthy so.....

Thank you! I feel like the chemicals in lysol and sanitizing products are way more harmful then the miniscule possibility of getting corona. When I thought about it rationally I realized if you could catch it from a box soooo many more people would have it.

This is so true. If this was as "super easy" to catch as everyone is making it out to be, millions more in our state alone would be infected.
