Is it a big deal to not eat dinner if I am not hungry?
I had a big lunch, and a little later than I normally eat.. I can pick at something here and there, but I really am not in the mood for dinner.
No biggie, right?

I don't really eat "dinner" anymore..... With my MS usually the best time for me to eat is between 1pm and 4pm.
In the evening I usually have a light snack....something to keep my sugar up.
A few slices of cheese and crakers, a baked potato and sometimes just a bowl of ice cream!

Not at all. The baby will ALWAYS get what it needs from you- regardless of what/how you eat. Just be sure to take your prenatal to ensure YOU get some nutrients.
On days like that I just drink a glass of orange juice (lots of nutrients in there).

I am rarely hungry when I get home from work and rarely eat dinner, I usually have fruit or something like that I am a big lunch eater, and believe me I do not think this child is starving

Honestly, it COULD be a big deal. The baby, as PP said will get what it needs from you but that one fateful day that landed me in LDR was because I did not eat enough and was nutritionally deficient. I ended up staying at home the next day and needing to take off the next day from work because I was so knocked out.

Re: Is it a big deal to not eat dinner if I am not hungry?
it really could be. the baby has needs and will take everything if necessary. Prior to pregnany, I was really bad... I would eat 2X a day... sometimes even just once.
I was set straight rather quickly in my first trimester. I felt faint and dizzy in a supermarket. After that, I realized I not only couldn't skip meals anymore, but I had to prepetually snack on little things, whether I wanted to or not.
