is it bad that i don't want to call my doctor?

DH and i did a lot of stuff today, putting things together for baby, cleaning up and going to BJ's.

i have had braxton hicks contractions all afternoon - never painful, just uncomfortable. i would say i've had about 10.

this evening, i noticed i was having a sharp cramping pain in my lower left abdomen. i don't think it's gas, but it could be. it definitely wasn't very painful, but very uncomfortable.

it is bad that i figured i would just relax and drink water and see if they went away? (so far, they have... they only lasted a couple of hours, and the pain wasn't regular at all in terms of minutes apart.)

if they come back tomorrow i will call the doc... i am not worried, should i be?

I wouldn't worry right now since it went away but if it returns definitely give your doctor a call for peace of mind, feel better and just take it easy as best you can

Oh my goodness I had that same exact pain when I was about 35/36 weeks. And it came out of nowhere because I was on strict bed rest. I still, to this day, have no idea what it was....but it passed and 3 weeks later gave birth to a healthy Baby Ryan.

Just try to take it a little easy going forward. Feel better!

thanks ladies... it never came back last night so i am thinking i just pushed myself too hard yesterday. i didn't even tell DH because i didn't want him to worry!!

i am going to take it easy from now on

I probably wouldn't call either...i'd probably rest, drink lots of water etc.
