Is the quality of a frozen embryo effected from the freezing or thawing? Does it make you more likely to have a MC?

At this point they say that they have perfected the freezing and thawing process so much it is very similar to a fresh cycle. Furthermore some people do better with a frozen cycle because there bodies are fully recovered from the IVF process. It doesn't make you more likely to miscarriage. I miscarried on my first fresh and first FET and we were successful with the 2nd FET.

My FET was my success. They actually say the success rate may be higher now in FET. Probably because your body goes through a lot less that cycle.

This. Year ago, the freeze technique was different and less reliable. These days, there is a higher success rate with thawing and more success in general with frozen transfer. Some Drs believe implantation is affected from all of the IVF meds. Girls with endometriosis are encouraged to go with frozen transfer a few months after retrieval so the body has time to suppress estrogen/hormone levels and therefore suppress the endo to allow for proper implantation.

If they are frozen through vitrification then no, it's fine.
However, even when vitrified, they are effected if going through a double freeze. (Freeze, thaw, freeze again)
I wish I had known that when I put my set through a double freeze.
