My daughter's CPSE meeting was 2 weeks ago. I was told paperwork would be sent out to me very quickly so we can get the process of getting her the services (speech, OT, and PT) and get her signed up for an integrated program for September. So far, I have received nothing. I called twice, although I did not speak directly to the chairperson.
Is this typical to not get any paperwork yet? I want to get the process started because I know the programs are starting to close out!

Sounds about right, but it should come soon. If not, I would put a call into your CPSE chair or asst. chair. If it was decided at your CPSE meeting that your Child will be placed in a center-based integrated program, then the school district should be sending your child's packet of information, Evals, IEP, etc directly to the schools. You will hear from the schools directly whether or not they have an opening and when you can come for your screening.

We have to wait for the school board to approve the services before they send me the paperwork.

Call the schools you are interested in directly. Tell them you had your meeting and were approved and want to know if they have openings. The district sent packets out to schools before I actually got the IEP myself.
