Between Xmas, Chanukah, his parents anniversary, his mom's b-day and my b-day, by the time Vday comes, we can afford a box of chocolates!

We decided not to exchange gifts this year because we are going to Boston for a little get away over Valentine's Day weekend. We are going to relax, do dinner and drinks and basically get away just the two of us for an extended weekend!

my birthday is the 12th- Rich got tix to see Mary Poppins on the 9th - we'll probably have a nice dinner on restaurant row that night. Then i'm going to see carrie underwood and keith urban with my friends on the 13th....so we'll probably just stay in, shut the lights, light some candles and watch a movie on the 14th.

I'd rather stay in than go out on V-day.

We don't do gifts, but we already said we wanted to go out to dinner that weekend, so I said if he treats, I'll make us a romantic dinner at home the night of.

We don't go out to dinner - Most restaurants are overpriced and understaffed on V-Day.
We will have a romantic dinner at home...and I bought him personalized M & M's as a gift.

I'm not sure but I don't think we will do gifts - at least this year - since we just got back from a cruise. My DH is actually going bowling on V-Day and we are going out to dinner I think the next night. Actually DH said he already made reservations....dunno when he did that.

We really don't exchange on Valentine's. We do more of gag gifts or small things like candy & stuff....

We'll either go out to dinner or I'll make a special dinner. I'll probably make him heart shaped cookie pops or a heart shaped cake.

I get flowers and candy- he asks me not to get him anything.. .he thinks it's a waste. Especially so close to Christmas.
We go out to dinner the next night- the restaurants are over crowded and over priced that night.

Our 10 year anniversary is in April so I'm not going to go all out for Valentine's day.

Maybe get him some Dale and Thomas popcorn (that stuff is soooooooo good) and a game for his new PS2. Plus some scratch-offs from the kids.

We'll probably order take out since that easier with the kids. It's a family Valentine's Day.

Being that this is our first Valentine's Day married, we are going to Vegas. I have never been and DH has been dying to take me. We don't usually exchange gifts. DH always gets me flowers. Two times I put a valentine's message in the local newspaper. Those were cute. Other than that, we just exchange cards and spend the night together.

Last year, DH tripped on his boots and fell down the stairs. We spent Valentine's Day in the ER and then we had Wendy's. LOL

We dont usually exchange gifts, but I just made Our Reservations Today at Aureole in NYC...they opened them up at 9am today, and they are sold out already!
We got ours!!

We don't do Valentines Day. However, this year we will be on a cruise, so I'm thinking they might do some special VDay dinner or something.

We dont celebrate Valentine's Day at all.

I bought a heart shaped pan, I will bake a cake and we will have either our favorite takeout or a pizza for dinner.

BUT...I got a couple of books for my daughter and I will get her a little something else. Seems like its all about my daughter now!

We'll go to dinner that weekend, maybe. I have school that nite and Thursday is usually laundry night so VDay will be spent at the laundry mat. So romantic.

Nothing. I think its a "made-up" holiday so retailers can make some more money. I have to tell him every year not to buy me flowers since they are ridiculously overpriced for valentines day.
