Hi, this is Bill again, Melissa's husband. I've been printing out all of your posts and bringing them up to Melissa, she appreciates them all so much.
Melissa is doing very well. Little Emily's rapid-breathing problem seems to have stabilized, but now they have told us she seems to have jaundice. She is still in the special care unit, they have her under special blue lights, and are testing her every 3 hours. The *worst*-case scenario is not great, but if she remains the same today or improves it will be a very good sign.
Melissa finally got to hold Emily this afternoon for the first time, right before they put Emily under the blue lights. Needless to say Meli was extremely happy and emotional. I'm glad she finally got to talk to her baby girl.
I'm going to try and post a picture.
Thank you all again, and i'll try and post more updates as soon as i can.

She is gorgeous!! What a head of hair.
My heart goes out to Melissa. I can't imagine how hard it must be for her not to hold her little girl. I hope she's in her arms really soon.
