IUI Timing
I triggered yesterday at 6AM and had my first IUI at 9AM today. The dr did a sono and could see the follicle was still there but he saw a little fluid which he said means I was in the process of ovulating. He seemed to be ok with it and proceeded with the IUI, I feel like I'm ovulating right now.
Is the timing ok? do they typically try to do the IUI a little earlier? I know the sperm is bypassing the cervix and CM. But is it actually in a good location to catch the egg right away?
Sorry for all the questions, of course I think of all of this after I leave. TIA!

Re: IUI Timing
I was told by one of the dr's at the RE's office, that the sperm reach the egg within a few min of the IUI (if you've ovulated) so I think you should be fine, best of luck!!!

Re: IUI Timing
It sounds fine. You typically do the IUI about 36 hours later and usually O about 38-40 hours past trigger. I've never had a sono done when I was having the IUI.
