Timing of trigger leading up to IUI #2... *update*
Hi everyone
A little nervous about my first medicated iui. This month, I took Clomid for 5 days. I went for follicular tracking on Thursday morning. The Dr. told me if I didn't surge by Friday at 6, to do the trigger shot on Friday night 11PM/Midnight and come in for IUI #2 on Sunday.
The Dr. saw 3 follies up there and said they were a nice size.
I usually O on my own and surge around CD15. Why did I have to trigger? Does the timing seem right to all of you?
sorry I'm like a n00b... but I can't relax unless I know

Had iui #2 today and it was right on... omg 3 mature follies! 
um, is that good?

Sounds about right - you should O about 36 hours after trigger. They want to time the IU as close to that as possible. They are having you trigger so that they can control the timing.

I agree with pp, 36 hours is the ideal amount of time for trigger to work. Good luck!!!

 Thank you all so much for the dust! iui #2 was this morning and we'll go back tomorrow morning too. I had 3 follies measuring about 30-35 each! I guess the clomid did it's job...

Thank yoU! today was round 2- one follie had matured and the others measured in the 30's! Holy huge!
