IUI w/ Injectables - Quick Question
How many days of injectables do you usually do with an IUI cycle and on what CD do they start? Just curious. I have my CD3 appt. tomorrow and I'm just wondering if I will be starting them tomorrow. TIA!

yes CD3 is usually when they start. the amount of time depends if you are a fast or slow responder as well as the dosage. ive done a week of stims and ive done 21 days at one point (though that was atypical). so it changes each cycle and the first few tend to be the ones where you fine tune the meds for future cycles (should you need any future cycles).

i started on cd 5 and did femara for 5 nights and 150 gonal every other night for 4 nights

Thanks! Dr. San Roman gave me the information for Bravelle and Menopur, not sure yet if I am doing both or one though. I will find out this morning!!

I started on CD3 and I was injecting for 20+ days. I was a very slow responder to the Gonal-F, so they had to keep increasing my dosage. It all depends on how you respod to the meds... you could stim for 20 days or you could stim for 8-10. Lots of luck this cycle!!
