IUI w/Injectables Question

hi ladies! i have been on injectables (menopur and gonal-f) and have my first IUI scheduled for saturday morning. i am supposed to give myself an HCG trigger tonight, but when the RE's office called they didnt say anything about taking menopur/gonal-f tonight. this morning at the RE my biggest follie was 18mm.

does this make sense to stop the injectables when you're triggering/schedule IUI? i am suddenly getting super-paranoid that i'm going to screw something up...

TIA!!!Chat Icon

IUI w/Injectables Question

Call your doctors office. Each individual protocol is different.

IUI w/Injectables Question

I am in the 2WW of my first injects cycle with IUI. I did not take Gonal F on the night I did the trigger. Your RE should have told you if you were to continue injects. I would call your RE to check.

Re: IUI w/Injectables Question

Once you use the trigger you are DONE with stims. I never heard of a protocol any other way. Good luck! The trigger will help mature them a bit more too.

This exactly. You don't stim when you're triggering.
