I've had it with rude uncensored comments from strangers! a bit long
I don't know if I've just noticed this more now since I've become a mother or if this was always the case but what is it with people who are complete strangers to you who say such rude stuff about children especially.
I was online at the store today and my mom was behind me on line and behind her was a couple who had a dd. Another woman behind the couple asked the parents how old their dd was. They replied 3 months. I chimed in (which I now regret) saying "oh she is adorable, my daughter is almost 3 months". The father of the baby girl leans over and looks at my dd who is sleeping and says "Oh she is so tiny. I was like well she was small when she was born. The wife says to me our dd is 25 inches long and that is because I breast feed. She than asks if I breast feed to which I just said simply no. I than got called up to pay for my purchases. Meanwhile my mom was standing there and the mother of the baby girl says to her husband and the woman behind them "did you see the baby she isn't even alert that is because she isn't breastfed. Women are so lazy they just don't care about what is best for their babies". Than she said "did you see that crappy stroller she has"? I have a snap and go btw. My mom didn't say anything but what the heck is wrong with people. She is judging a 2 month old who is sleeping 
When my mom told me as we were leaving the store I actually thought about going back in and giving her a piece of my mind but I guess it isn't worth it. People have just become so rude I don't understand it. I would never say something cruel or judgmental about an infant...people are nuts.

ummm....i....ummm....wow. i think i'd knock that b1tch out. wth???!! what is wrong with people?? my mom would have definitely jumped in that convo and then all he!! would have broken loose. ignorance!!!! p!sses me off!!! so sorry u had to go through it.

She sounds like an insecure psycho!
I EBF my son and he was in the 5th percentile until he fell OFF the growth chart, he then gained/grew and settled in 30th percentile. Her BFing has nothing to do with the size of her daughter - that is genetics. She is smoking crack.
I'm sorry you had to deal with that, I'd probably also ask Mom to not repeat such comments, I already know most people are azzholes, I don't need the proof.

I wish I was in line...I'm totally not one to confront but I really think this would annoy me. I definitely think I would defend you, a stranger to another stranger b/c I feel like she is judging one baby to another and that is WRONG!!!
