IVF Journal - Updated 8/31 with U/S!
I figured it was about time I start my IVF journal. It's my first cycle so I wasn't sure at which point to start.
Me: 33
DH: 34
TTC for #2: 20 months (started 2/10)
My history:
I have endomitriosis and had two surgeries ('96 and '07).
Pregnancy #1 in 2007 ended in a m/c at 8.5 weeks.
Pregnancy #2 in 2007,  born 2008.
Started TTC #2 in February 2010.
Pregnancy #3 in 2010 ended in m/c at 8.5 weeks.
Each of the above 3 pregnancies took less than 4 months to conceive. Therefore I thought my issues was with keeping the babies, not conceiving them. But, low and behold, I'm still not pregnant since m/c in August 2010.
RE testing showed that I do not ovulate every cycle although all hormone levels are in the "ideal" range. Diagnosed with Unexplained IF.
March 2011 - Clomid & IUI - BFN and very thin lining from Clomid
April 2011- Clomid - lining very thin, RE decided to stop that course of action.
Started BCP June 2011.
Suppression check #1 - 7/6/11: Progesterone of 2.2 indicated I O'd on Pill, what they don't want, one more week on BCP. 
Supression check #2 - 7/11/11:
Progesterone down to 0.289
Begin Lupron 10 units on 7/11/11.
Last BCP 7/14/11.
7/20/11- bloodwork and U/S. All normal. 9 follies on right, 13/14 on left.
Decrease Lupron to 5 units
Start Follistim at 225 units
7/21 & 7/22:
Lupron 5 units
Follistim 225 units
7/23/11: Monitoring Day
Estrogen = 172
18 follies, 4 measurable
Lupron 5 units
Follistim 225 units
7/24/11:
Follistim 150 units
Lupron 5 units
Start Menopur 75 units
7/25/11: Monitoring Day
Estrogen = 410
9 measurable follies, largest on rt = 13, 10.5 and 9, largest on left = 10.3, 10, 9.8
7/25 & 7/26 (same as 7/24):
Follistim 150 units
Lupron 5 units
Menopur 75 units
7/27 - Monitoring Day
Estrogen 1,250
22 measurable follies, largest is 15.5, lots in the 11, 12, 13 range
7/27/11 (same meds as 7/26):
Follistim - 150 units
Lupron 5 units
Menopur 75 units
7/28/11 - Monitoring Day
Estrogen 1,831
20 measurable follies, 31 total follies
largest on rt = 18.4, 17.5, 17
largest on left = 18, 17.8, 15.9
7/28/11 (same meds as yesterday):
Follistim 150 units
Lupron 5 units
Menopur 75 units
7/29/11 - Monitoring Day
Estrogen 2,800
Lots of follies 20 - 23
HCG Trigger 10,000 units tonight!
7/30/11 - start Z Pack
7/31/11 - Egg Retrieval
I'm still recovering and in more pain than I expected. I'm also not reacting well to the pain killers and/or anesthesia becaue I've thrown up a ton today. But, on the positive side - they retreived 17 eggs and the Dr said they look very good!!!

8/1/11 - 12 Fertilized!!!

8/2/11 - 12 still developing and lookin' good!
Progesterone in oil - 1cc

8/3/11 - no update from RE's office
Progesterone in oil - 1cc
Zpack Day 5
Aspirin
8/4/11 - 12 embryos still developing!!
1 early blastocyst
4 compacting
3 1/2 compacting
4 cellular
Progesterone in oil - 1cc
Aspirin
8/5/11 - Day 5 Transfer of 1 Embryo complete! It was a 1AA Blastocyst (highest grade my RE will give), now the waiting begins....
8/6/11 - The lab called to tell me that they froze two embryos on Day 5 - a 1AB and a 1BA.
8/13/11 - cautiously optimistic since I've had 2 m/c, but today I POAS and BFP!! Blood test is on Monday.
8/15/11 - 15dp retrieval Beta #1: HCG = 202 and Progesterone = 46.6 
8/17/11 - 17dp retrieval Beta #2: HCG = 442 (more than doubled!) and Progesterone = 46.9
8/19/11 - 19dp retireval Beta #3: HCG = 1,069 (more than doubled again!) and Progesterone = 69.7!
8/31/11 - 6.5 weeks pregnant and first ultrasound - we saw the flickering heartbeat!  It was so amazing and at this point, I guess I will sign off of this IVF journal.
Updated 12/10/11: I wanted to add that I am now 21 weeks with a healthy  ! I've been very nervous and tentative this entire pregnancy due to my history. But, now, I feel him moving around everyday and I just cherish every moment. I am so happy to have gotten to this point but still look back on our struggles and wonder why. I cannot wait until April when our little guy joins our family and all the answers are revealed - we waited this long because this is the baby we were meant to have, I can feel that in my heart.

It's really going fast!!! I feel like the IVF protocol flies.. wayyyy faster than IUIs!! At least that's been my experience!
