Day 5 Transfer complete! RE would only do 1 blastocyst (I wanted 2). They said based on my thick lining (16) and young age (33) and no known "issues" that I was a great IVF candidate and they feel extremely confident one would take. They went through all the risks of twins (premature babies, birth defects, risks for me, etc, etc) and scared my DH out of 2! Logically, after what they said, I see that putting 1 was good, but emotionally I wanted 2. I really feel it increases my chances of pregnancy (be it 1 or 2 babies) but they say it does not. They said with the one, I had a 67% chance and with two I had a 67% chance. Only increased % was that of twins. So, now I am on 48 hrs of bedrest and a 1.5 week waiting game.......
