so this is what bugs me about this whole situation...Kates bday-Jon gone to Utah and has another woman, friend or more there with him???
that would be it for me...even if she is JUST a friend...you dont go away on your wifes bday on vaca and have another female along.

we don't even know if they're actually together. they might have to pretend for the show they're together so if he's out with another woman on her birthday, big deal! good for him, maybe she'll respect him unlike his wife

It's true that we don't know if they are really together or even trying to work on their marriage but it still looks bad on Jon. I'm sorry...he has 8 kids that are old enough to watch TV and 2 of them go to school where kids talk. It doesn't look right for him to be on vacation with other women when his wife is at home by herself on her birthday. That is wrong. I think he's a scumbag and I'm shocked at the amount of people who think his affair is OK. He's still married and having an affair is wrong....I don't care how you try to paint it.

i am not excusing his "affair" if that is indeed what he's doing. we are on the outside looking in. we really don't know what the hell is going on! and what about kate? she is accused of cheating on her husband as well! she should get rid of the bodyguard since he's in the limelight as the man she's having an affair with. they're both to blame

I agree they are both to blame. It just seems like everyone is taking Jons side and making him look like the victim then excusing his behavior (not only on LIF I've seen it mentioned numerous other places too). If shes cheating she's wrong too but it seems to me his cheating is a lot more obvious than hers. And the fact that he chooses to spend time with female "friends" on her bday is wrong...especially knowing that they are in the spotlight being chased by the paparazzi and his kids may see and hear this stuff.

oh man at first it seemed like Kate was a horrible to live with but Jon is not getting much sympathy from me either. Its hard to tell who is at fault the tabloids make them both look bad. At the end of the day its those kids that are going to suffer. I think Jon should be trying to make his marriage work not out at nightclubs regardless of what Kate is doing, even if she is never home, neither one of them is doing the right thing by their children. I have been getting the impression from the show though that it is Jon that wants out of the marriage more than Kate.
