Jacob had a really high fever and we took him to the ER last night
Saturday morning he woke up with 100 and a bad cough. By the afternoon, he had 103. He responded to the Motrin but yesterday evening it went back up to 103.3. The pediatrician didnt think that we needed to take him to the hospital but we were worried. They were so great at the ER and Jacob was such a big boy...he was chatting it up with everyone in the waiting room  You would never know that he was sick! They took a strep test although they think that its viral. Thankfully he slept through the night and woke up with 100.9! He is acting great today and like his old self! High fevers are so scary!
