I completely agree with you. I wish no one would pay her to here her story but that never would happen. Plus how fast did they write this story, is the baby like a week old. Geez

If you look at the cover, its says: "being a mom is the best thing in the world"... Nothing of despite being a teenage mom or teenage struggles, just how great it is. Meanwhile Jodie sweeney cover was like recovered heroine addict. They pinpointed her downfall, I feel like her teenage pregnancy is glorified cause she is a star. Now some dim wit teen who wants to get preggo is going to have proof of how great it can be to have a baby. This my opinion of how thow whole things has been looking in the media to me.

I do think she and her parents and these magazines are glorifying it. They are exploiting the situation. She is a teenage mother. She is a child herself. Does she really need to be on the cover of a flashy magazine discussing her fabulous experiences? What is the message other children are getting from seeing her get all of this attention, fame and money? If it weren't for her having a baby, I don't think she would be on the cover of OK magazine.

I DO think that they are glorifying teenage pregnancy. It is a few weeks after the baby is born and she looks AMAZING and is raving about how much she loves motherhood - I guess it is wishful thinking that the media would not glorify it though.

ITA. She has the means to get help. Most teens will not earn the money in their lifetime what Jamie Lynn earned as Zoe. Now we're going to see articles on how great motherhood is (and I do agree but many times it's a struggle for adults, nevermind teenagers.) and how fast she got back into shape.
See if the teenagers in Massachusetts get themselves in shape between their fast food shifts without a personal trainer.
I don't think she should be in hiding. I also don't think she should be glorifying it.

Maddie is ADORABLE.
As for Jamie Lynn, I do think she is being exploited--she's a kid herself and I am susre there are people whispering about the $$ to her mom (shame on her). But truthfully there are so many to blame, the family, the newspaper and the readers--just watch how many magazines fly off the shelves..
