Jeep Wrangler Owners...do you love yours?
I don’t know if it’s a midlife crisis or what, but I feel like I want this as my car.
Any other moms out there have one? Do you love it?
My commute to work is only about 20 to 25 minutes. I do have two children that I’m constantly driving to activities. Would love any feedback!

Don’t have one. But have a jeep Cherokee and had a grand JC. Love my Jeep’s. Im answering because I know 3 people who have had them. 2 were adults with kids = hated them. Mostly due to the harsh ride. You feel everything. The 3rd person is a 16 year old girl and she absolutely loves it because it’s cool.
DH had one as a loaner for 3 weeks once and we both hated it. Again, harsh ride. Every bump, etc. we don’t have kids so I can’t tell you about room for them and their stuff, etc.

I have a wrangler. And so does my DH. This is my 2nd. My first was in HS and they have changed so much. It’s fun but I only have one kid to run around. If I had 2 I might not have picked it. My son play hockey so we are in the car constantly and with lots of stuff. Mileage is not great but I didn’t get it for the great mileage.
ETA. I saw the previous posted said it was a harsh ride. I don’t think it is at all. They are smooth compared to even just a few models ago. But it’s not an suv/car ride. More of a truck.

You have to really love them to deal with them. Rent one for a week and see if you like it.
Pros:
Fun. The best there is, especially with a freedom top and summer with doors off and top off. The community aspect of it. Jeep waves, meet ups. You’ll never have an issue in snow. So many cool accessories you can get and modifications you can make
Cons: Gas They are prone to many issues They can leak Little room and storage space. Not the most comfy seat-wise. Can be bumpy (I don’t find it that way though) Steering can feel “loose”. Takes getting used to.
All that to say yes, get one and start giving waves! But I still would suggest renting one for a few days to be sure.
If you want more of a luxury feel, the Sahara/Rubicon/Moab is your best bet.

Thank you for this amazing feedback! The one we are looking at is the Sahara. We felt like the ride was smooth. And the seats seemed more comfy than my Pilot.
What is a Jeep wave exactly?

The Jeep wave is this like a little acknowledgement between Jeep drivers on the road. I’m trying to figure out how to explain what it looks like but just Google it when you can. It’s fun. You’ll see you get them all the time.
Sahara is so nice. I don’t find the ride bumpy or noisy, even with the doors off and top off but I know others have said that. They really are fun. What color were you thinking?

The one we found that checks all the boxes is silver.
I wanted white with a black top. However, we’re doing preowned. It’s actually pretty difficult to find one with leather and navigation that fits our price range.

This made me LOL because I was recently wondering the same. This summer I started really wanting one. We go on the 4 wheel drive beach all the time and I have been jonesing for one so bad. Mainly because I want to look cool with a surfboard. Ya know...like I'm 22. LMAO

I think I am having the same midlife crisis because I wanted my husband to get one as well, solely so we could off road it at our summer house. Ultimately we ended up getting him the VW Atlas Cross Sport. I have a regular Atlas and I love it.

My sister had one. There were so many mechanical problems. She sold it when she had her first kid.
